The Sharks finally decided to snap out of their 7 game losing streak on Tuesday Feb.20th against the St.Louis Blues. Did San Jose get too comfortable with winning seven games in a row at the beginning of the season?

San Jose definitely had the advantage in last night’s game. While the Sharks were well rested with three nights off, the Blues flew in at 6AM from Vancouver. Berglund reached his first career four-game goal streak for St.Louis in the first period. With assists from Boyle and Marleau, Thorton was able to tie it up in the second. Seven minutes left of the last period Kennedy scored the winning goal – his second goal in three games this season. What feels to be the longest month ever, San Jose actually wins a hockey game, 2-1 against the Blues.

Now that the boys have ended their losing streak, do they have enough momentum to receive two more points from Chicago? The Blackhawks have tied NHL history with their 16-game winning streak, hoping San Jose puts an end to their glorious season at this Friday night’s game. The Sharks have a score of 8-4-3, with only one win for the month of February. If there is a will, there’s a way– San Jose will make it happen.
